Harpreet Singh is the lead vocalist of India based fusion band called - Bombay Bairag. Harpreet started his musical journey with immense support from Sardaar Charanjeet Singh Ji.
Harpreet Singh belong to the Sikh family based in Punjab. He started his musical journey from the age of 6 years. Since childhood Harpreet was dedicated and focused with regards to his career in Music.
Following his passion from childhood, he received initial learning from Shri. Chandan Devedi in Classical Music and got hold on Harmonium and Vocals.
Further he went to Puratan Kala Punjab Gharana Tabla Wadan Sikheya Kendra and learnt Classical Vocals for 4 years supported by Ustad Kulwinder Singh Ji.
Harpreet left his hometown and came to Mumbai to learn classical music under Kerana Gharana (Style of Ustad Nayaz Ahmed & Fayaz Ahmed) from Pt. Arvind Parikh (Renowned Sitar player) and his daughter Purvi Parikh (Famous Vocalist)
With handfull knowledge and some experience he can effortlessly create and compose music, gazals, Multani Kafi and Punjabi Folk Music. He has perfected his voice to fit in wide range of music forms. However he can play Harmonium efficiently.
Harpreet has delivered live performances in different states of India past few years. He has also participated in Voice of Punjab Season 2, 2011. He was also one of the winners of the North Zone Youth Festival in Ghazal and Classical Vocals.
With above expertise he is being serving tuitions (Shadab / Kirtan / Ghazal / Classical / Sufi) in Mumbai from past 4 years.
