Performing at Hindustani Classical Music Evening presented by Naadbrahma & Navakala

Naadbrahma & Navkala is about to present Hindustani Classical Music Evening dedicated to Prof. R. C. Mehta.

The music event is being organized to cherish memorable moments of Prof. R. C. Mehta, an academician who has served in music education for over 45 years through his constant efforts to propagate classical music knowledge in India..

For those who don't know, Ramanlal C. Mehta was a great musician and musicologist from India who followed the Kirana style of the Late Ustad Abdul Waheed Khan. He had successfully lead the Baroda Music College as a principal.

As a distinguished vocalist of the Kirana Gharana, he has developed his own style in Khyal and Thumri, and given several vocal concerts of Hindustani Classical Music in Indian music circles, music conferences and over All India Radio. He has composed and produced above fifty musical dramas.

As a dedication to his great efforts in music education, Naadbrahma & Navkala is about to present the Hindustani Classical Music event at Vadodara.

I am excited to share the stage with other renowned musicians in the Hindustani Classical Music circle.

See you there at Vadodara. Other details in the poster below.

Annual Melodic Reunion - Guru Purnima 2014 - Tribute to Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahib

Mumbai during monsoon can be very depressing due to relentless rain, but when it poured melody on the occasion of Guru Purnima, it was a different story. The unintentional strains of music inside the compact Rangeshwar Hall of the Y B Chavan Centre, Nariman Point, presented by disciples of Pandit Arvind Parikh as a tribute to Ustad Vilayat Khan, turned out to be awesome due to it's meticulously planned eight sessions over two days (12th July and 13th July 2014) I consider it as a good platform for all the disciples of Pt. Arvind Parikhji which gave them an opportunity to express themselves through their music. I was one among them. Performing at such a graceful occasion in front of great people always gives me confidence and encouragement to be with my music career. The event was successful and I feel immense pleasure to be the part of it. I request the viewers to watch videos uploaded on my YouTube channel.
